BUIES CREEK - The band that provided the soundtrack for many a college experience in the 90s is coming to Campbell University this spring.The Goo Goo Dolls, renowned for hits like "Iris," "Slide" and "Name" will play the John W. Pope Jr. Convocation Center at 8 p.m. on April 17. Doors will open at 7.Formed in 1986 in Buffalo, N.Y., the band hit the bigtime in 1995 with the album "A Boy Named Goo" and the single, "Name."
